Bobbe Shire talks about one of the most misunderstood aspects of spinning, which is setup speed. Bobbe talks about how high setup speeds are difficult to control and generally do not add to the speed of the spin, especially for lower level skaters.

    I taught a spin class Monday at a figure skating camp and I noticed ALL the girls were using the 3-turn and one crossover entrance on practice later! All of your steps helped them so much! THANK YOU!
