Laurent Depouilly

Laurent Depouilly is a World and Olympic coach who currently coaches in Fairfax, VA where he teaches all levels and specializes in jump technique and competitive skater development. Laurent was the head coach of World Champion Brian Joubert when he won Worlds in 2007. He also coached Joubert at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Laurent has also coached other national champions and international and world competitors.
In his skating days, Laurent was the Men’s National Champion in France in 1986 and he also competed in the 1984 Olympics in Sarajevo. Today, besides his coaching duties, he is also an ISU Technical Specialist.
