Compulsory Figures – Forward Inside 8 (Page Lipe)

In this very short video, Page Lipe demonstrates the forward inside 8 compulsory figures pattern.  This is a continuation of Page’s earlier figures videos.  The value of this short video is in Page’s description of the starting position and the alignment that Page demonstrates throughout the pattern.  (Note that we were sharing the ice with a dance team during this filming which explains the pauses.)

I watched one of your videos about forward outside edge 8. You explained very clearly and especially you repeated everything many times. You talked about common mistakes students make. I liked that video, but other 8 videos seemed very short too me and very fast you passed through them.

I was told for right forward inside edge, the right arm should be in front same as for 3 turn and etc. So it is confusing for me. The video was very short. I think you can elaborate on positions of hand and feet and body weight as well as leaning.
