Add to “My Favorites” (Beta testing)Hi Chris, I have dartfish also but I am no where close to the skill level you are. This is amazing presentation! My student is young and very little, she is 8. She has a nice internal rotation but trouble getting height to complete the rotation. She has avery quick rotation and she can get around but it’s very low. 8 out of 10 times she lands forward and has to put her left foot down. Any advice? Do you ever look at videos?
if a pole or harness is not available, are there any on ice exercises to get that knee in better position?
Thanks, Chris, for your time putting all this together! Every analysis and tip you have is extraordinarily helpful in my putting together a balanced idea of how I teach. I am teaching four different double sals right now. What a help you have been!
I also want to thank you Chris for your time and let you know that I have been able to use the internal knee rotation on a student learning her double salchow and what a difference it has made. She started landing them on the harness within a day. Thanks again!
Hi Chris! Thank you so much for your time and energy that you devote to this website. I have one student who has a consistent double salchow (but I could’ve used this video when I was teaching her!!) and one just learning. This will help me keep it simple and help my second student get her jump quicker and help me be more confident about teaching it! Thanks
