super good chris. always helpful to understand the angles of our parts…and i love the ‘target’ idea- it has helped me get my axel back after 10 years off the ice 😉

This was helpful, do you have any thing with right sided skater in the single axel. I have one who needs help in getting the landing foot down, she keeps it tucked up underneath her with obvious reslut.

Thanks Chris, this is exactly what I need right now because I’ve just bought the Dartfish software.

I agree with your entry position. I never let my skaters do the telegraph squat. It makes for a very bad line. It does waste motion. It also tends to allow the skater to “grab” with the toe pick in order to slow themselves down. (Fear issue) I tell the skater it makes them look like they have to go to the bathroom. Not exactly delicate but this visual stops them from doing it.

Chris, THANK YOU! Your analysis was great. I have students who do the exact same thing, so it is very helpful to get the breakdown of the errors. I have used the zombie saying, so it made me laugh! Thanks again for all your help!
